About Waterleigh
Waterleigh is a large master-planned community in southern Horizon West, spread across about 1,400 acres around Hickorynut Lake. It's one of the bigger neighborhoods in Winter Garden, and it's built for people who want a lot going on close to home.
D.R. Horton and Emerald Homes have been building here since about 2014, with single-family homes and townhomes in a wide range of sizes. It isn't gated, and it isn't trying to be. It's an open, active community with room for a lot of families.
Amenities are the reason many buyers choose Waterleigh. There are several resort style amenity centers with pools and indoor fitness, plus playgrounds, sports fields, volleyball, mini golf, walking trails and a community garden. Hickorynut Lake has a fishing pier.
