About Cypress Point
Cypress Point sits on a peninsula in Dr. Phillips, just off Apopka Vineland Road south of Sand Lake Road. Lake Tibet-Butler is on one side and Lake Sheen is on the other, both part of the Butler Chain of Lakes. The neighborhood has its own community dock and boat ramp, so even if your home isn't right on the water, the chain is still yours to enjoy.
It's a guard-gated community, and it feels settled in the best way. Most homes were built in the 1990s and early 2000s. You'll see a lot of Mediterranean and Spanish styles, block and stucco with tile roofs, on lots from about a half acre up to an acre. Some are comfortable family homes and some are true estates.
Residents share a clubhouse, a community beach, tennis, basketball, a fishing pier and a playground. Those shared spaces are a big part of why families stay here a long time.
Day to day, it's a very convenient spot. Restaurant Row is about a mile and a half away, Dr. Phillips shopping is right there, and downtown Orlando is around 12 miles.
One thing that trips people up is the name. The Reserve at Cypress Point is a separate neighborhood next door with its own HOA and its own feel. If you're looking in this part of Dr. Phillips, we can help you sort out which one fits what you're after.
